Hair loss is something no adult wants to talk about. However having shiny long, thick, and gorgeous looking healthy hair is a dream come true for all women. Why only women, even men nowadays long for good healthy hair. Anyway, lovely lustrous hair is one of the most attractive things about a woman.

Amla: Also known as ‘Indian Gooseberry’, Amla is one of the popular Ayurvedic remedy for having a shiny and healthy hair. Use of amla oil, amla powder, or even intake of amla prevents hair loss and premature graying.
Bhringaraja: Also known as ‘False Daisy’, Bhringaraja grows as a weed in moist places. The leaf extract is used in Ayurvedic remedy to help improve hair growth and darkening of the hair.
Brahmi: This herb is known as ‘Indian pennywort’. Brahmi oil is used for preventing hair loss and dandruff problem. It nourishes the hair roots to improve the growth of the hair. It also helps in regaining the natural black color.
Shikakai: Shikakai is an Ayurvedic medicinal plant that is widely used in India. The leaves, fruit pods, and the bark of this tree are dried, powdered and made into paste. This is used as a natural cleanser to clean the hair. The shikakai paste also acts as a conditioner. The use of Shikakai improves the growth and thickening of the hair.
Neem: Neem leaves are boiled in water and after cooling it, the neem water is used to wash the hair to get rid of dandruff. The paste of the neem leaves is applied on the scalp to give a soothing effect, and helps to get rid of scalp irritation problem. Neem oil helps in improving the growth of the hair.
Henna: This Ayurvedic herb is used as a natural hair conditioner. It helps in getting rid of dandruff and improves hair growth. Henna is also used to prevent premature graying.
There are other Ayurvedic herbs that help in preventing hair loss, but to start with, try these out and you will notice the difference in a month.
